One Step about to be done!

It’s crazy to think this journey with cancer has been going on for almost 6 months. Today, is the last day of systemic chemotherapy. I am beyond thankful to have gotten to this point. I am eternally grateful for our cheerleaders that continue with us on this unprecedented marathon.

We got the best care package of things we love and didn’t know we would love; pepperoni rolls and all things Lavender with dustings of love. This week we will be “celebrating” the end of the weeds with some lovelies coming from the East. Hoping that the chemo haze will allow some good moments and sure to be some laughter medicine.

Glimmers this week included an impromptu family adventure day (checking off a to-do list months old), monstrous slides, and officially wrapping up first grade. Getting back to yoga and the lovely spirits that have joined me in practice from my community. The mundane days, that are so precious and needed To balance out with days with more emotions and all the parts of life. Less intrusive side effects from chemo last round. The nurses (near and far) and doctors that continue to be a guiding force on my journey; insuring safety, answers and space when there aren’t answers.
